Local 18 and Department of Water & Power Represented at
Annual National Safety Council, Utility Division, Conference

More than 200 people joined representatives from both IBEW Local 18 and DWP at the annual National Safety Council, Utility Division, Conference.

Local 18 was represented by Business Manager Brian D'Arcy, Union President and Joint Training Institute Administrator Frank Miramontes, and Joint Safety Institute Administrator Jim Barham. Susana Reyes, JTI Administrator and Chuck Kokoska, JSI Administrator were there for the Department. A comprehensive agenda of work-related safety and training topics were discussed at the gathering and numerous worthwhile ideas were noted for further study and use.
