Lineman’s Rodeo

The Annual IBEW Local 18 and Department of Water and Power Lineman’s Rodeo was held May 20. Along with the competition there was food, bucket truck rides, equipment demonstrations, a petting zoo, and other activities.

The top four journey level teams who will be going to Kansas City in September are: Todd Alden, Scott Barnes and Ron Beech (first place); Glen Slattery, Troy Couch and Ed Slattery (second); Bill Herriott, Jay Puklavetz and Dick Brown (third); and Ken Twomey, Jim Schultz and Terry Silva (fourth).

A special thanks to all the volunteers who helped to make this event such a success.
