Take Your Daughters to Work

April 27 was National Take Your Daughters to Work Day. Every year, DWP sponsors events at both the AOB and the GOB. Speakers are chosen to reflect different options open to young women in today’s environment. Local 18 Reps Shawn McCloud and Annemarie Cavallaro spoke to offer a union perspective. Shop Steward Elena Sotelo-McCrary carried it one step further by bringing a young woman she is mentoring, Chynna Gordon, to the Local 18 Parent Body meeting that evening.
